Free Admission To Đà Nẵng Attractions For Visitors For Three Months Starts Today

Free entry to Đà Nẵng attractions

With pristine beaches of sparkling white sand and emerald water, a modern city full of cool cafés and night markets to explore, and luxurious theme parks housing plenty of entertainment, Đà Nẵng is one of the hottest tourism destinations in Vietnam.

Unfortunately, just like the rest of the country, the coastal city has seen a major decrease in the number of tourists since the beginning of the COVID-19 outbreak. Now, in an effort to revive the domestic tourism industry, local authorities have temporarily removed the entrance fee from various attractions in the city.

Visit the Marble Mountains for free

The most notable among the sites offering free entry is the Marble Mountains. Named “Ngũ Hành Sơn” (Five Elements Mountains) by locals, this is a collection of 5 marble mountains with Buddhist structures built in their many caves.

From the top of the mountains, visitors can see a bird’s-eye view of Đà Nẵng as well as of the sea beyond.

Aside from the mountains, 3 museums including the Đà Nẵng Museum, the Museum of Chăm Sculpture, and the Museum of Fine Arts will also be admitting visitors free of charge. These buildings boast an extensive collection of items on display, from artifacts from the Chăm Pa civilization to traditional and modern art pieces.

If it’s your first time in Đà Nẵng, drop by at least one of these museums to learn more about the history of the city.

The promotion program kicks off today, 1st June, and is expected to last 3 months until the end of 31st August.

Special promotion at Bà Nà Hills – a luxurious theme park in Đà Nẵng

Nestled on top of a mountain 20KM from the center of Đà Nẵng, the Bà Nà Hills is one of the most well-known theme parks of Vietnam.

Accessible only by cable car, this entertainment hub is famed for a fantasy park with over a hundred entertainment spots and stunning backdrops enough to satisfy even the most hardcore of Instagrammers.

If you are in Vietnam, you can experience these tourist destinations for a discount – with fewer crowds to boot. Bà Nà Hills is currently offering a special promotion, during which if you get a ticket (VND750,000, ~USD32.24) before 15th July, you’ll get a free voucher to a buffet at the complex’s restaurant, which normally would set you back VND255,000 (~USD10.96).

Domestic travel encouraged in Vietnam

Having recorded no new COVID-19 community transmission for 46 days, Vietnam is one of the few countries where people can lead a relatively normal life and are actually encouraged to travel more to help restore the tourism industry.

With a plethora of tourism promotions on offer right now – and just in time for summer too – it’s a rare chance for to explore this beautiful and hospitable country to the fullest.

For now, domestic travelers will be the sole beneficiaries of these promotion programs, as Vietnam will continue to close its borders to international tourists until the global COVID-19 situation improves.
