Going viral on the internet is an honest car mechanic who immediately returned money to the car owner after finding it hidden in the air vent.

Mechanic returns money to car owner after finding it in air vent
Two days ago, Pornphimon Sophak shared to his Facebook the story about a car mechanic who returned ฿4,000 (~USD130) to him after finding the cash hidden away inside the car air vent at a Toyota service centre in Lampang.

According to Mr. Sophak, the car mechanic was quick to inform him about his secret stash – he called the owner and sent pictures of the cash immediately after the money was found.

Impressed with the honesty of the mechanic, Mr. Sophak took the story to Facebook to let everyone know about the place’s great service.
The post has since gone viral having over 5,700 shares and 1,800 comments.
Netizens praise car mechanic for his integrity
Netizens were fast to respond to the heartwarming story with many showing admiration towards the car mechanic.

However, several netizens are also saying that although the car owner’s cash has been saved, he might now be in trouble back at home. That trouble is said to be coming in the form of “Mrs. Sophak”, who may have questions about his secret money.
