Mata Mata

Mata Mata is a Singapore TV drama series that was shown on Channel 5. It revolves around the going-ons during tge post-war period. The depicted scenes were stated to have been inspired by 'real life events. The title 'Mata Mata' itself stands for police during that era. This show also showcased how women would like to stand up for themselves and be a part of the 'Mata Mata' team. 

The storyline was also inspired by Singapore's first ever female Assistant Superintendent, Mary Quintal Nee Voon.
