Desmond Tan

Desmond Tan was born on the 19th of August, 1986 in Singapore. He propelled to fame via a local televised competition; Star Search 2007. He succeeded in being the runner up for that aforementioned competion. His ranking there earned him a contract with Mediacorp.

He officially debuted onscreen as an actor in 2008 via several Channel 8 dramas. His roles there were usually the minor ones. He attained the Rocket Award durin 2012 Star Awards under the 'Biggest Breakthrough' catagory after acting in a drama series called 'A Song To Remember'. 

Desmond Tan's was also the ambassador for Samsung gadgets from 2012 to 2013.
