Dai Xiangyu

Dai Xiangyu was born in China on the 27th of December, 1984. Originally, his name was Dai Yangtian. He is both a Singapore-based model and actor.

Mediacorp first spotted him when he was modelling at Shanghai. He debuted onscreen as an actor in Singapore via a blockbuster drama in 2008; The Little Nyonya. He was nominated as 'Best Supporting Actor' and won the 'Best Newcomer' award during the Star Awards 2009, soon after the aforementioned  drama ceased to an end. 

Dai Xiangyu participated in differing dramas after that including 'Together' and 'Breakout'. However, he went on a hiatus after filming the latter drama. He filmed a production in China; Precious, in between the timespan of his break.

Recently, Dai Xiangyu was nominated as 'Best Actor' and 'Top 10 Most Popular Male Artistes' under the drama called 'Poetic Justice'.
