Hotel Grand Chancellor

Hotel Grand Chancellor is located on Belilios Road (off Serangoon Road) next to a famous Indian Temple which was built in 1881. It is also within 5 minutes walk away from MRT stations and the famous 24-hour shopping centre within the "Little India" enclave. The "Little India" of today has a colorful history, dating back to the time when Sir Stamford Raffles first set foot in Singapore back in 1819. The area was designated for the Indian community, as two thousand three hundred and twenty Indians settlers were part of the entourage. As the community grew and the area became more popular, it earned its nickname "Little India" which has since stuck. Today, "Little India" is a must visit tourist destination in Singapore due to its colorful mix of heritage buildings, temples and people.
