This mosque is named after Mr Ahmad Ibrahim, an MP of Sembawang in the 1950s and 60s. He tragically died at a pretty young age.
It was built in 1958 in the Northern part of the island, near Nee Soon Camp and Sembawang Airbase, serves the religious needs of Muslim living and working in the vicinity.
It is pretty small, able to accommodate about 200 Muslims at a time. It offers nursery, kindergarten and weekend madrasah classes for children of nearby residences in addition to daily classes for adults in the nights as well.
