When anyone thinks about Italian food, there's little doubt that the golden couple of pizza and pasta jumps into mind immediately. And now you can taste the fresh authentic creations of Chef Antonio Manetto in his beloved first solo venture, Bella Pizza.
A cosy little restaurant snuggled in a quiet corner of Robertson Quay, Bella Pizza's location is convenient for those who want to pop down to the clubs for a night of drinking and dancing but still retains sufficient privacy for those who're after a quiet evening wining and dining.
Bella Pizza's riverside view of smooth waters banked by gentle greenery and flowing under one of Singapore's most historic bridges is also sure to charm the eyes and help improve the appetite.
Their pizzas are thin-crusted, but the texture is just right - not too thin or thick. Absolutely great to sink your teeth into. They have both red pizzas (tomato-based) and white pizzas, but I prefer their red. Love the mozzarella, but that's because because I love cheesy pizzas. I tried their squid ink pasta once and I must say it's one of the better ones I've had in Singapore.
Also, service was efficient and the staff were friendly and helpful. Bella's Pizza is definitely one of my favourite Italian restaurants around.
The pizzas are no doubt the headliners, but Bella Pizza’s all-around excellence is what makes this place stand out from the rest. For $18, their weekday set lunches are a great way to sample their menu without burning a hole in your pocket.
