The restaurant has been opened for 57 years originating from the times when Mr Hamad's mother started street peddling nasi padang. Besides having nasi padang as its signature dish, the restaurant also offers a variety of other foodstuff such as beef rendang and chicken curry. The restaurant is scheduled to close at the end of March 2014 due to lack of manpower and high food costs.
