Nestled on the south-eastern tip of Sentosa, Singapore's resort island, lies the award-winning Sentosa Golf Club. Steeped in rich history and tradition, Sentosa Golf Club is home to two of the region's most exclusive and challenging golf courses. The Tanjong Course and The Serapong Course, the club's two meticulously manicured courses, provide sweeping views of the South China Sea and Singapore's bustling port, and offer players a formidable round of golf. These courses and the club now set the backdrop for Asia's richest Open, the Barclays Singapore Open. Since 2005, some of the golfing world's greatest players have walked these greens vying for the generous purse: Phil Mickelson, Adam Scott, Jeev Milkha Singh, Ian Poulter, Angel Cabrera, Padraig Harrington, Martin Kaymer and three-time Major winner Ernie Els. Opened in 1974 by then Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew, the club has a mere 1,500 members from some of the city's most prominent and influential circles. Members here enjoy seamless services including bag drop-off and buggy retrieval. In addition, the caddy service available to members and guests alike allows golfers to enjoy walking The Serapong Course keeping their back muscles relaxed and taking in the magnificent views of Sentosa. With a full complement of facilities including exquisite, high-end dining options; personalized banqueting menus and private meeting rooms, it is no wonder that Sentosa Golf Club is more than just a great round of golf.
