Social House
Additional Details:
Decadent, dark and strangely alluring is how to best describe the newest entry to Singapore’s nightclub scene. With its swirling lasers, blue-hued shadows, forest motifs and sprawling mirrored bar, this large-scale club-bar-restaurant is following a theme established by its Japanese-inspired landlord, Liang Court. There are snooker and karaoke lounges, and plans to add Wii, Xbox and PS3 facilities – it’s like Little Tokyo. On the weekends pony-tailed ‘Harajuku girls’ strut the dance floor, as suited wait-staff make the rounds. While big on aesthetics, Social House is still finding its place in the clubbing scene, but with a worthy cocktail list and the entertainment extras, it’s sure to ‘turn you Japanese’ for one night. Social House consists of 3 different sections for customers to enjoy: Umami, a Japanese restaurant; Social House, the main bar area covering 1,500 sq meters; and Bubble Bubble, an exclusive section with its own bar. The main room spins the hottest RnB hits and its second room, Bubble Bubble plays electrifyingly House music. Social House, also the largest indoor club in Singapore boasts 7 private entertainment rooms, each room equipped with wireless Internet connection, karaoke facilities and three 40-inch flat screen TVs.
