She was the runner-up and winner of three subsidiary titles: Miss Beautiful, Miss Natural Beauty and Miss Crowning Glory in the Miss Malaysia/Universe 2005 pageant. She was voted one of the 2006 FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World. In 2007 she turned full-time actress, emcee, TV host, show producer and PR consultant. She owns Chermaine Poo Productions and was named 'Emerging Woman Entrepreneur of the Year' in 2012.
