Singapore’s First Dog Petting Cafe Has Quietly Existed Without Many Knowing

Friendly dogs abound

We’ve been hearing a lot about multiple Cat Cafes that have been popping up all around Singapore recently, but what about Dog Cafes? When we heard about Singapore’s first dog petting cafe, we just had to go down to see for ourselves. Dog lovers out there, this is a place you don’t want to miss!

Singapore's FIRST Dog Petting Cafe - We Are The Furballs

First thing to note is that the minimum age for entry into the dog cafe is strictly 10 years old. Meaning that even under adult supervision, children under the age of 10 will not be allowed to enter. This was put in place as a safety measure to protect both the dogs and the children, so do take note before heading down.

Located conveniently on the top storey of Bugis+, you will find We Are The Furballs tucked in a corner of the outdoor space of the mall on Level 7.

Stepping into WTF made us fall in love over and over again. There were a total of 8 dogs roaming the space in the cafe and they were all toy dogs (i.e. small dogs) which means that they are completely harmless. These adorable furry creatures were full of life, greeting everyone who passed by. Treat bags could also be purchased separately at $3.50 each so you could make the dogs do little tricks like “Sit” and “Paw”.

Although the cafe does not serve food, they serve many types of beverages, ranging from sodas, to teas, to soft drinks. Board games are also available for those who just want to take a break from all the dog cuddling.

See you there!
