Waterway Point Has An Inclusive Snoopy-Themed Festival For A Wholesome Kids’ June Hols Activity

Snoopy Beagle Scouts Festival at Waterway Point

With the mid-year break almost halfway through, surely most of us would have already breezed through our list of family-friendly things to do during the June holidays. Unless you or the kids have already resigned to whiling the rest of June away at home, Waterway Point has got just the solution.

From now till 23rd June 2024, visitors to the mall will get to rub shoulders with the entire cast of Peanuts at the Snoopy Beagle Scouts Festival. From snapping pics with Charlie Brown and gang to bouncing about in an inflatable obstacle course, here’s what you can expect at this adorable event that’s fun for the whole fam.

Huge play zone with an inflatable obstacle course

Each pass admits 1 kid;
accompanying adults are free to supervise, but they’ll need another pass should they want to participate in the activities too

You can’t miss this one, literally, as the expansive Snoopy Beagle Scouts Festival spans across Waterway Point’s B1, The Plaza and B2, The Cove. For admission into the festival, you’ll have to get your hands on a Beagle Pass at the customer service counter at L1, East Wing, by presenting a receipt showing a spend of $50 in a single same-day transaction.

Once you’ve got the nitty gritty out of the way, if you’ve got rowdy tots in tow, the inflatable obstacle course is undoubtedly the attraction to make a beeline for. It’s packed with comically large inflatables like hurdles to hop over and a tunnel to crawl through, perfect for lively little ones to run riot in.

As for photo spots, they’ve got a couple of tents set up, complete with camping gear, for you to organise an outdoorsy photoshoot. You also can’t miss the towering Snoopy inflatable who’s cradling an oversized Woodstock.

Don’t forget to drop in for the movie screening happening at 8pm, 15th June 2024. They’ll be screening Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle right here, so be sure to set aside some time for a cosy movie night.

Pop-up store with tons of Peanuts goodies

For a breather and some shade, duck into the little pop-up shop located at B2, The Cove. The place is filled with tons of Peanuts-related merch. Feel free to shop for the whole fam – they’ve got both shirts splashed with cute artworks for both kids ($29) and adults ($35) alike.

Other Snoopy-emblazoned goods you can find here include huggable plush toys ($49.90), plus handy tote bags ($29) and lunch bags ($35). There’s even a Peanuts Beagle Scout Ez-Link card ($10) available for purchase, for you to display your affection for the beloved beagle on your daily commute.

If the lil’uns would like to show off their artsy side, they can head right to the Rafting Rangers activity station. Here, they’ll get to put together and design their own miniature raft, which can move on its own in the water by winding up a rubber band-powered propeller.

Once the creative minds are done sprucing up their vessels, they can set them afloat in the nearby inflatable pool to watch their creations come to life.

Moreover, inclusivity is the name of the game at the Snoopy Beagle Scouts Festival. There’ll be slots set aside specifically for persons with disabilities, so that they can enjoy the festivities as well.

Finally, another attraction to look forward to is the Going Viral exhibition, set up in collaboration with Science Centre Singapore. This educational pop-up dives deep into the science of modern day vaccines, and how they play a crucial role in preventing pandemics both now and in the future.

Expect interactive games, quizzes as well as intricate paper art displays to ogle at; It’s going to be up and running from 24th July to 1st August 2024.

Bring home cute limited-edition Snoopy merch

Of course, you’ll get a chance to bring home a piece of Snoopy with you too. Simply spend $180, or $280 if you’re doing grocery shopping at one of Waterway Point’s supermarkets, and you can redeem a bunch of Snoopy-related goodies.

Do note that redemptions are limited to 1 per day, and there’s a total of 1,000 pieces of each merch up for grabs.

There’ll be 2 sets of merch; shoppers who visit from 24th May to 20th June 2024 can receive a 3–piece travel cube, while 21st June to 28th July 2024 sees the release of a cooler bag. You’ll have to hit the $180 or $280 spending milestones within 3 same-day transactions in the mall in order to walk home with either release of merch.

Also, Citibank Mastercard holders are in luck. Shoppers will receive a $10 FRx gift card upon spending $100 with a Citi Mastercard in 3 same-day transactions in the mall; you’ll want to download the Frasers Experience app on the App Store or Google Play to snag these. The gift cards are capped at 1,500 redemptions, and it’s limited to 1 redemption per member per day, so it’s fastest shoppers first.
