Let’s run through your Christmas checklist real quick: you’ve got the tree, the food, and several holiday movies lined up. Now, all that’s left is to find a party where you, your bestie, and the whole fam can spend time together. And that’s where A Universal Christmas at Universal Studios Singapore comes in.
From a parade and live shows to carnival games and photo ops, here’s everything that’s happening from now till 2nd January 2023.
By now, going to Universal Studios Singapore every Christmas has become a holiday tradition. And we couldn’t be happier.
This year, there’ll be a parade with floats, Ringmaster Santa, and dozen of performers in colourful costumes. Right after that, swing by Far Far Away to meet Gingy and watch him help Pastry Pat move into his new bakery at Gingy’s Sweet Meet & Greet.
Or, head over to the Hollywood Zone where Ruby, Polly, and Farrah twirl, dance, and compete to be the star of Santa’s Spectacular Circus in the Santa’s Starlet dance off. Let It Snow is also set to kick off here, so if taking photos backdropped by “snowflakes” is your thing, don’t miss it.
Don’t forget to catch a Unicyclist Elf, a Peppermint Plate Spinner, and a stilt-walking Toy Soldier doing tricks while you’re there.
If you’re after one of the most Instagrammable places that will let you embrace your inner child while making your IG feed proud, the meet and greet booths are where it’s at.
Over at the Hollywood zone, our favourite characters from Illumination’s Minion, Dreamworks’s Animation Kung Fu Panda, Puss in Boots and Trolls will grace you with their merriest costumes.
At the New York zone, you can hang out with Sesame Street characters and Santa’s Superstars of the Circus. There’ll be a human cannonball and a giant Christmas star to pose with. Take all the time you need to get those golden social media snaps in.
TBH, every station is set up for pictures, and everyone you meet there will be all over them. Oh and, there’ll be a Ferris wheel that’s pretty much tailor-made for the ‘Gram.
It’s not just about the parade, dance shows, and photo ops either. There’ll be a slew of carnival games where you can flex your skills. Knock down blocks at Blockbuster and kill it at a game of basketball to bring a cool prize home. Consider this Universal Studios Singapore’s early Christmas gift to you.
Don’t forget to stop for a sweet apple crumble treat at Mel’s Drive-In or an ice cream at Loui’s NY Pizza Parlour before heading to the merchandise corner to pick up more goodies for the whole fam.
Tickets start from $78/child and $98/adult and come with a treat voucher and a $5 retail coupon. That, honestly, is a great deal.
