Spooky szn is upon us, and Easties have us green with envy. This year, there are Halloween events at not just 1, but 2 malls in their ‘hood. And the best part? The events are a mix bag of both tame and cutesy for the kiddos, as well as legit scary for folks who yearn for that deliciously frightening, heart-dropping surge of adrenaline.
Here’s a peek at what you can expect from the Tampines 1 and Century Square Halloween events 2024, happening from now till 3rd November:
If you love haunted houses and subjecting yourself to jumpscares, make a beeline for Tampines 1’s Halloween Maze. We won’t give away too many spoilers, but do be prepared to endure many jump scares as you explore the tent.
The Halloween Maze is a must-visit especially for Indonesian horror movie buffs. You’ll see a lot of those regional influences here, complete with a screening of a “ritual” to fill you with unsettling vibes. Thereafter, you’ll have to navigate the maze filled with coffins, shrines, and mysterious masked entities.
Make sure to swing by the photobooth to capture some spook-tastic shots for the ‘Gram. The eerie backdrop and gruesome props will make all your snaps 10/10 on the fright scale.

Admission: $10 per entry, tickets can be purchased at the queue at Level 5, or redeem a free entry ticket by spending $80 at participating FRx stores at Tampines 1. Up to 3 same-day, same-mall receipts of min. $10 spend can be combined.
Over at Century Square, the Halloween festivities will be a jolly kid-friendly affair. To get shoppers in a spooky mood, there’ll be an annual Halloween’s Best Dressed Competition just for little ones.
The categories are split into 1-6 years old and 7-12 years old, with prizes valuing up to $1,350 in FRx Gift Cards so you can treat yourself and your kiddo at Frasers Malls. Registration is open from now till 24th October. Prepare to rock up on 31st October, 3pm-5pm, for the winners to be announced.

Rooftop storytelling

Trick of Treats
