9 1-for-1 Dining Deals At Suntec City To Help You ‘Tank’ Till Payday

Suntec City’s irresistible makan deals

Every single time my friends and I are stuck in a dilemma of where to go, the solution is typically just “town lor”. This is usually followed by aimless wandering along the streets of Orchard Road, ending up at our regular haunts, or binging on bingsu to beat the heat.

But the next time you’re in town, try heading down to Suntec City for a day of hearty feasting – without your wallet getting totally rekt. Rolling out a whole slew of promotions till 21 May 2017, this treasure is well on its way to becoming everyone’s haunt.

Make your way to these places for mouthwatering grub at pocket-friendly prices:

1. 1-for-1 Sirloin Steak at The Butcher’s Kitchen

Finding quality steak for under $20 is mission impossible, but The Butcher’s Kitchen is making miracles happen. Fight for the 1-for-1 150 Days Grain Fed Sirloin Steak (U.P. $36 each) before they all run out. The juicy steaks are paired with grilled garden vegetables drizzled with Balsamic dressing and premium homemade brown sauce.

Well done indeed.

And if you’re looking to be a masterchef in the comfort of your own home, you can purchase meat from the fresh food section. Imported from Australia, their fresh produce has no trace of steroids or antibiotics, so you can tell your health-conscious mum to rest easy.

Promotion valid from Mondays – Fridays after 5pm only.

3. 1-for-1 deals at Morganfield’s

At the exit closest to Promenade MRT, Morganfield’s will catch your eye. Enjoy your meal and drinks at the alfresco dining area, or head in if you prefer some aircon.

Lights hang low and the restaurant effectively channels chill vibes as the ambience transports you right to the set of Wild Wild West. The place is also super spacious so you don’t have to listen to the neighbouring table yap about their first world problems.

Morganfield’s has promos that varies depending on what day it is.

  • On Mondays, go for 1-for-1 coolers. We recommend Granny’s Apple Lychee Tea ($6.90).
  • On Tuesdays, enjoy 1-for-1 Half Slab Sticky Bones ($27.90). We were impressed by the Hickory BBQ Sticky Bones, with succulent pork ribs coated in BBQ sauce that packs a punch. This is limited to the first 50 customers of the day so make a run for these delish treats!
  • On Wednesdays, patrons can redeem 1-for-1 desserts, including the P&J Mudslide ($9.90), which tastes exactly like Reese’s peanut butter cups. Along with the brownie and ice cream, it proved to be worth all the calories chalked up.
  • Finally, the promo week wraps up with 1-for-1 beer on Thursdays, so jio your buds for a chill night out to celebrate the impending end to the tedious work week.

Slurp down a comforting bowl of soup-based Beef La Mian ($7.80) and you’ll be walking away with a happy belly. The clear broth is lightly flavoured, unlike the MSG-laden ramen that we’re all too familiar with. Topped with thin slices of tender beef, this is a dish you don’t want to miss.

The latter tasted like our all time fave Hawaiian pizza, while the BBQ Chicken had generous chunks of chicken meat doused in sweet and tangy BBQ sauce.

Here’s one for caffeine addicts. On Wednesdays, we wear pink be rewarded with a 1-for-1 coffee or tea deal. Sip on a cup of rejuvenating Green Sencha Tea ($4.90) or Flat White ($4.90) with your colleagues while paying only half the price. Shiok!
