Gather your tribe and gear up for a day of fun in the sun while soaking up summer vibes in Singapore Sports Hub‘s latest Community Play Day, happening 10AM-8PM on 13th July at the OCBC Square.
The perfect marriage between a sports day and outdoor festival, the lineup of activities lets you soak in some good ol’ vitamin D, engage in exhilarating games and burn some major calories while you’re at it.
Dubbed the Summer Sports Jam, there’ll be neon glow dance workout and even a “Bubble Run” for you and the squad to work up a sweat together and have a ball of a time. Best part? Admission is free.
No matter the age, few can resist the refreshing allure of getting wet-and-wild. Beat the sweltering SG heat with Splash & Dash, which features an obstacle course, toddler-friendly water playzone with slides, water soccer and more.

Those who are particularly agile can attempt the Bubble Run, where participants have to race within a huge inflatable orb – hamster ball-style. Staying upright in the giant ball is no mean feat so if you manage to nail it with perfect balance, bragging rights are guaranteed.

If you know someone whose only form of “exercise” is boogying on dancefloors every weekend, rope them in for the Summer Spin Jam.
As heart-thumping beats and chart-topping tunes fill the air, the DJ will collaborate with professional instructors to take the crowd of party-people through various K-Pop, Bounce DanceFit and Piloxing moves.
Time: 4PM-6PM

Come sundown, the sessions will shift towards Zumba, Cardio Blast and a Fit & Joy routine for participants to really amp up their heart rate and get the good vibes flowing.
As darkness descends, the space will be illuminated by neon gear so make sure you come decked out in bright outfits and luminescent accessories.

This is where your friends and family members with a competitive edge get their chance to shine. Form a team of 3 to 5 people and channel your reality TV fantasies through a series of mystery hunt challenges.
Map in hand, you and your squad will be traversing through various stations all around Singapore Sports Hub, with numerous sports activities to check off the list along the way.
Time: 10AM,11AM, 2PM, 3PM, 4PM & 5PM
For participants 4 years old and above. Each team must have at least 1 adult, aged 18 and above.

Functional fitness is all about strengthening muscles used in everyday movements, such as squatting down and springing back up, or lifting heavy objects. To train those vital muscles, Red-X Games presents “The Colosseum”.

The obstacle course features power and endurance fitness challenges which you’ll have to tackle in a fixed sequence, at one shot. Don’t worry if you’re not on Ninja Warrior levels of fitness, as there’ll be professional guidance at each station to nudge you along.

The Sports Hub Community Play Day will be also be jam-packed with other activities such as trampoline fitness sessions, Augmented Reality (AR) E-sports games and a footvolley class – where you play volleyball with your foot.
