If you’re on the hunt for your next adventure, Malaysia’s latest attraction is ready to impress. The country’s first-ever glass water slide, SkyCity, is a 600m-long ride that promises an adrenaline rush like no other for thrill-seekers of all ages.

Nestled in Shah Alam, Selangor, this one-of-a-kind attraction stands at a towering 60m and offers an unforgettable experience. From its spiralling loops to its dazzling LED lights that illuminate the slide at night, this ride combines excitement with breathtaking views for the whole family to enjoy.

How to get to i-City Malaysia

Getting to i-City in Shah Alam, Selangor, is easier than you might think. Start by making your way to KL either by plane, coach, train, or driving up there yourself.

Once you’ve arrived in Kuala Lumpur, SkyCity is approximately a 48-minute drive away. For those driving, simply key “i-City Theme Park” into your GPS, and you’ll be there in no time. Alternatively, you can book a Grab ride directly to the destination for convenience.


New 600m glass water slide


 

Getting to the top of the glass water slide is an adventure in itself. Ascend SkyCity Tower, where the ride begins at a jaw-dropping height of 60 metres. Once at the top, you’ll be greeted with panoramic views of Shah Alam’s skyline. Whether you’re visiting during the day or at night, the sight is breathtaking – especially at sunset when the city is bathed in golden light.

The ride itself spans a thrilling 600 metres, making it Malaysia’s longest glass water slide. It’s designed with spiralling loops that add an extra adrenaline rush as you glide down. The transparent panels beneath your feet offer an uninterrupted view of the ground far below, giving you unmatched 360-degree views.

To make the experience even more memorable, the slide is equipped with colourful LED lights that illuminate the track after dark. Gliding through the vibrant lights feels like travelling through a glowing tunnel, creating the perfect backdrop for those looking to capture unique photos or videos for the IG feed. Plus you don’t have to worry about getting your clothes wet as raincoats are provided with every entry ticket purchased.

Tickets for children 10 and below as well as senior citizens above 60 cost RM45 while adult tickets go for RM55. Tickets can be purchased in advance from the i-City official website to secure spots for this one-of-a-kind experience.
