Most of us can agree that the March holidays are meant for the kiddos – and parents – to catch up on school work and most importantly, sleep. But more than just checking things off your to-do list, you can squeeze some family bonding into the week-long break as well.
Thankfully, Sentosa FunFest is returning from 16th to 24th March 2019 and you can expect the same level of fun as last year’s We Bare Bear beach extravaganza, if not more. With thrilling bouncy castle obstacle courses or diving into a sea of Gudetamas, you sure won’t be lazing around at home.
If you’ve fallen victim to the cuteness of Gudetama or are a Hello Kitty and My Melody fan, Sentosa FunFest is the place to be. You’ll be treated with more than 800 character inflatables scattered all around Sentosa’s Palawan Beach. Yet the highlight has got to be the 3m tall Gudetama inflatable that you’ll be able to spot from miles away. The bigger, the cuter.
When you feel like you’ve maxed out your daily dose of vitamin D, make use of the sheltered walkways from Beach Station to Palawan Beach. You’ll find Hello Kitty and My Melody photo setups here as well – great for an Insta-update.
Bouncy castles are already synonymous with lots of fun. Yet, the Olympic Challenge manages to bring it one step further with a 25m long inflatable obstacle course, complete with slopes and giant bouncy slides. Another highlight is the Kids Maze – an inflated labyrinth for kids to find a way out of. And to top it off, the little ones can flex their kiddy muscles at the Traversing Wall or transform into a tightrope walker on the Balancing Beam.
Traversing Wall – children can try their hand at bouldering on this cushioned rock wall for an extra bit of thrill
Cool off in the foam pool after an afternoon of bouncy fun
At the family-friendly Foam Pool, parents can do away with the #FOMO because everyone is welcome to join in the fun no matter your age. It essentially feels like you’re in a giant bubble bath – all that’s missing is a little rubber ducky.
Note: Height restrictions apply

What better way to end of a long day of play than with a free movie screening? Just imagine yourself armed with a bag of chips, sitting on a comfy picnic mat and watching your favourite family classics. It’s just the amped-up version of a Netflix and Chill session – a go-to way to unwind with family and friends. Movie sessions begin at 7.30pm every night at Palawan Green for the entire duration of the festival.
Check out the full movie schedule here.
Palawan Pirate Ship is a free entry water playground complete with water-dunk machines, water sprinklers and winding slides, so be sure to pop by for a good cool down. After all, who wouldn’t want to be Captain Jack Sparrow for a day?
Note: Kids must be dressed in swimwear to enter the playing area.
Opening Hours: Daily, 10AM-6PM
Sentosa’s sandy beaches are one of the top few places to hang with the fambam or your squad, and things just got even better with cute cartoon inflatables and fun activities. Singapore residents are also entitled to free entry via Sentosa Express and Sentosa Gantry (Drive-in) throughout the festival’s duration!
So if you’re looking for a break from your busy schedules, head down to the Sentosa FunFest 2019 for a chill day out without having to worry about busting your wallets.
