With Valentine’s Day round the corner, the search is on for the perfect restaurant to bring your significant other. Perched atop Ann Siang Hill, you will be able to enjoy a scenic view of low-lying Chinatown in an intimate setting. All dishes featured in this article are included in the Breeze’s special Valentine’s Day Menu ($160++ per couple).
We were welcomed with a special concoction of pineapple juice, raspberry puree, grapefruit juice and kiwi vodka. Cleverly christened Love Lace, the cocktail symbolises all the intricacies of being in love. It’s light and refreshing, and prepares your palate for the melange of flavours ahead.
We started off with foie gras served on brioche and garnished with mango slices. This dish was all about the harmony of contrasting flavours. Not only did the tangy mango balance out the foie gras’ creaminess nicely, when paired with the brioche, a delightful medley of textures ensued.
Couples will get to choose either one of these three main courses each.
