As the weather starts to warm up, keep ICE & TIME in mind the next time you need a cool down. This dessert cafe has a Muji-esque interior with wood furniture and an abundance of plant decor. Staying true to the Japanese theme, their desserts include Kakigori, which looks a bit like the ice kacangs we are used to.

Instead of just plain-tasting shaved ice, the ice used to make Kakigori infuses Laoshan spring water and milk pudding, ensuring that every bite is as flavourful as the last. There are 9 Kakigori flavours to choose from, with the top picks being the Japan Strawberry Enchantment ($22.60) and Matcha Bliss ($18.90). Since they are only sold in 1 size, we suggest you bring a friend along to help devour it.

You may have seen some of the hilarious videos of Singaporean TikToker Lukey Chan, but what you might not know is that he’s now the proud owner of an Italian cafe, Pasta Papa. The cafe has al fresco seating that’s sheltered, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed date or catching up with friends.
What sets Pasta Papa apart from other pasta spots is that you can get Cook Your Own Pasta sets at $39.90 that feed 2. While all the ingredients are already cooked, they are served separately for you to mix everything in a pan by yourself. You can adjust the flavours with the different seasonings provided for the perfect pasta.
Some of the pasta options available here are Bolognese ($10.90), Carbonara ($11.90), and Pasta Alle Vongole ($13.90), all of which you can opt to upgrade to the Cook Your Own Pasta sets.
