Pororo Park: 11,000sqft Indoor Kids’ Playground At Marina Square With Train Ride & Ball Pit

Pororo Park

If there’s anything that can make a kiddo’s day, it’s a visit to the playground, where their imagination can run free. If you’ve exhausted all your visits to nearby haunts, you might want to turn your attention to the mother of all indoor playgrounds: Pororo Park

Spanning 11,000sqft, this playground is located in Marina Square mall and has goodies like an indoor train ride and carousel – and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Consider Pororo The Little Penguin a celebrity in its own right. The South Korean cartoon of the same name first premiered in 2003 and till date, it has more than 1 billion views on YouTube. You can assume every kid and their parents know the name.

At Pororo Park, which was created based on the popular show, kids will enjoy meet-and-greets with Pororo and his gang of friends from the forest, including Loopy the Squirrel. Suitable for kids under 12, the park has a handful of family-friendly activities in store, starting with the Pororo Express Train located near the entrance of the playground.

The train ride takes the little ones on a short arctic-themed ride along a train track. Seat belts are provided for safety and there’ll be crew members walking alongside the train as it chugs along – just to make sure the kiddos behave.

If it seems more like a theme park than a playground, you’re right on the money as the newest addition to the play area is the Gallop Station carousel. It’s not just for the little ones; parents can hop on the ride with their kids.

While there are a handful of offbeat activities, the staple indoor playground attractions that kids will know and love are available here as well. There’s an ocean-themed ball pit where the young ones can “waddle” around, a sand pit to build castles and a small “jungle gym” where they can clamber up and down in.

Huge fans of the show will also recognise a replica of Pororo’s house that visitors can enter to explore and snap some pictures. There’s also an in-house cafe where parents can relax with a drink while keeping an eye out for their little ones.
