Picture yourself stepping onto a padel court surrounded by lush greenery, with towering vertical gardens in the background as you get ready for your next rally. For a limited time, you can experience just that at Padel at the Gardens, a new padel experience at Gardens by the Bay that lets you enjoy the sport with one of Singapore’s most recognisable landmarks, the Supertrees, as your backdrop.
Padel at the Gardens is part of Swiss multinational investment bank UBS’s regional Padel Series, which takes the fast-growing sport to iconic destinations across the Asia-Pacific. Past editions include Padel Central in front of Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour and the Australia Padel Invitational, held at the Sydney Opera House.
Now making its Singapore debut, Padel at the Gardens will run from 19th September to 11th October 2026, with complimentary public court bookings available throughout.
Whether you’re picking up a padel racquet for the first time or already an expert at the sport, the initiative welcomes players of all experience levels, so you can rally with friends or meet fellow players along the way.
The venue features 2 bright-orange courts positioned side by side, enclosed by glass panels and black mesh fencing. Surrounding them is a raised platform with tiered seating, giving spectators a clear view of the action while creating a compact, stadium-like atmosphere.
Most importantly, the entire arena is sheltered from the elements, while giant ceiling fans help keep the space cool as you play. Toilets are also available within the facility.
For those without their own equipment, racquets and padel balls are available for rent on-site at a non-refundable fee of $15 per racquet and $12 per tube of 3 balls.
Players can book a court through the Playtomic app (App Store | Google Play). Simply create an account and search for “UBS Centre Court at Gardens by the Bay” to view the available dates and time slots. While the courts are currently fully booked due to high demand, users are encouraged to check back periodically as slots may become available due to cancellations.
Do note that the booking holder must be present throughout the session and show valid identification or booking confirmation. All bookings are subject to availability and weather conditions, including haze.
Located on the West Lawn at Gardens by the Bay, the arena is about a 6-minute walk from Bayfront MRT Station Exit B, with the route offering a picturesque stroll through the gardens. If you’re driving, Bayfront Plaza Carpark is about an 8-minute walk from the venue.
Few padel courts come with a backdrop quite like Padel at the Gardens, so grab your friends and enjoy a relaxing rally while soaking in the views.
