Be it work or school, we’re always busy with something. Now that the September school break has started, it’s finally time to take that much-needed break to spend some quality time with our loved ones.

This month, LEGOLAND Malaysia promises a fun-filled day for the whole family just a stone’s throw away from the Causeway. Aside from their theme park rides, they’ve recently launched a new aquarium and meet-and-greet sessions with iconic LEGO characters.

Here are some of the highlights to look forward to:

Walk amidst sharks and manta rays at SEA LIFE Malaysia

We know so little about our marine life despite living on a planet made up of 70% water, but what little we do know is fascinating. Enter SEA LIFE Malaysia, the theme park’s latest addition which houses 13,000 sea creatures from 120 species. Here, you’ll see sea creatures up-close as you explore their LEGO-inspired underwater exhibits.

A must-see is their Ocean Tunnel, their largest on-site tank which has a tunnel that lets you walk “underwater” and observe sharks and rays swim around you. You’ll also get to explore water habitats like that of the Malaysian Rainforest, seahorses, and tropical coral reefs.

Kids can touch and learn about creatures like starfish and sea cucumbers at the rockpools

They even have special daily behind-the-scenes tours (RM25/pax) where guests can find out more about healthcare and food preparation of sea creatures at SEA LIFE Malaysia.

Catch LEGO characters and musical shows in the flesh

Imagine your favourite toys and movie characters coming to life – that’s what you’re going to experience when you stumble upon life-size LEGO characters at LEGOLAND. They regularly grace the theme parks and resort, so you’ll be able to snap pics as cool memorabilia of your visit.

Throughout the month of September 2019, you’ll be able to catch live magic shows, meet and greet sessions, and activities like dance sessions and games at LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort. Just head here to stay on top of activities that’ll be happening throughout the month.

You’ll also want to catch the LEGO Friends Musical Live Show that runs daily. The show follows five friends as they explore family-friendly themes like bravery and care. And if you can’t help but bounce along to the music, you can even dance with the characters and build LEGO animals in an interactive session.

Hop aboard thrilling rides at LEGOLAND’s theme park

No trip to LEGOLAND is complete without getting an adrenaline rush at the theme park. With over 70 rides and activities to conquer, the park has roller coasters, family-friendly rides, and photo-worthy themed LEGO displays to keep the whole family entertained for the weekend.

Technology doesn’t take a backseat here, as it’s incorporated into 4D shows that have real-life effects like wind, water and fog. Virtual reality also takes centre stage with rides like The Great LEGO Race, immersing you into a virtual LEGO world.

If you’re a sci-fi fan, you won’t want to miss LEGO Star Wars Miniland, which has sculptures of icons like Darth Vader and the Millennium Falcon.

Be sure to check out other themed areas like LEGO Kingdoms which has medieval castle walls, complete with kid-friendly jousting events and a dragon roller coaster. There’s also the Egyptian-inspired Land of Adventure, which replicates a lost ancient kingdom.
