These days, everyone has a camera in their pocket, but nothing quite beats the fun of stepping into a photo studio. Fun props, silly faces, and themed rooms make you feel like you’re in your own MV. And if you’ve ever secretly wished you were a K-pop idol, the iWan Idol Experiential Selfie Studio in Singapore is your shot at living the dream – at least for a day.
The iWan Idol Experiential Selfie Studio is pretty much every K-pop fan’s fever dream come true. It’s Singapore’s latest and largest K-pop-themed selfie studio, where many realistic photo spots are available.
Across 10 curated K-idol sets, you’ll find yourself “hosting” fan meets or posing with setups inspired by variety shows – just like the idols do when the cameras are rolling.
Yes, a photographer-for-hire is available at $150 to $200 per hour. Take note that you’ll have to contact the studio in advance to check the photographer’s availability.
But the whole concept is DIY, so you’re encouraged to snap your own photos, or bring someone along to play cameraman for the day.
The selfie studio has a range of themed sets with all the props you’ll need to recreate classic K-pop idol moments, such as posing backstage before a “concert” or pulling your best aegyo for the camera at a fan sign booth.
One set that deserves a special shoutout is their classroom setup, inspired by popular K-variety show Knowing Bros. Come prepared with your best K-pop choreo and strut it out on an iconic variety show set.

It wouldn’t be a full K-pop experience without pretty outfits. At the iWan Idol Experiential Selfie Studio, you can rent a range of stage-ready outfits ($49/set) – sizes generally run from S to L, though they may differ depending on the piece.
You’re also welcome to come in your own outfit and make-up. After all, nothing screams idol energy more than rocking a style that feels 100% you.
Speaking of make-up, if you need a helping hand to achieve that doll-like K-pop idol look, there’s also a professional make-up service ($150/session) you can add on to your booking. By the time you step out of the dressing room, you’ll be ready to conquer any stage or red carpet.
Just note that you’ll need to arrive 1.5 hours before your booking for the glam session. A bit of waiting never hurt – it’ll all pay off when you’re absolutely eating up your shots later.
At the end of your experience, you’ll also get to bring home an additional memento. For an additional $5.90, you can turn your snaps into classic K-pop merchandise, including photocards, ID cards, and photo strips.
Take note that printing of photos should be completed within the allotted time, so plan your time wisely unless you want to miss out on bringing home these keepsakes.

The selfie studio runs 3 daily sessions – 10.30am to 1.30pm, 2.15pm to 5.15pm, and 6pm to 9pm. Just a heads up that punctuality is key here. If you’re late, it’ll eat into your session time, and overtime incurs additional charges. Best to plan ahead so you can maximise the full idol experience.
Here’s a quick overview of the packages available:

At the time of writing, iWan Idol Experiential Selfie Studio is also running an opening promo at just $29 for the first hour, and that already includes 1 idol outfit rental. It’s limited to the first 100 bookings only – hurry up and book a slot to make your debut.
This is the chance for hardcore K-pop fans to live like an idol for a day. Best of all, it’s all the glam without the insane training, so it’s a win-win.
