With temperatures peaking in Singapore these days, we don’t blame you if you want to spend all your time in shopping malls. Plaza Singapura has taken it a step further and added a whole snowhouse for you to take a respite from the heat.
Korea Winter Fiesta has all the good stuff – hand-sculpted ice, free photobooths inspired by the destination, and travel promotions for you to start planning your year-end holidays. Here’s all you need to know about this event happening from now till 30th June 2024 at Plaza Singapura.

We know, we know, the weather sibei hot these days.
Escape the heat and dive into a frosty paradise at the Snowhouse. This 12m x 7.5m winter wonderland was created by ice sculptors from Snow City Singapore. You’ll even find hand-sculpted ice displays of Korean winter sports like skiing, a traditional Korean Hanok House, and even a fun slide for kids.
On the second floor, children and families can enjoy a fun slide and an ice fishing photo opportunity, highlighting the diverse winter activities found in Korea.

You also get to enjoy complimentary drinks from a Korean-themed bar offering a selection of Korean beverages. Just remember to claim your 2 drink coupons at the registration counter when you sign up to be a Syo Rewards member.

On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, experience enchanting snowfall outside the Snowhouse. There’ll be an activation at 11.40am, 3.40pm, and 7.40pm. It’s like stepping into a snow globe right here in sunny Singapore!

Entry to the Snowhouse is free; simply like the Plaza Singapura and Korea Tourism Organization Singapore’s social media pages and be a member of the CapitaStar App. You’ll also have to book a slot prior to your visit on Tripzilla. Each session lasts 20 minutes and is limited to 20 participants.
Once you’ve had your “wintry escapade”, head inside Plaza Singapura. The event continues near Sephora, with various photo activations where you can snap a shot for the ‘Gram. There’s even a photo booth with traditional Hanboks and adorable props!

If the young ones are bored and restless at home, take them along with you. They’ll love the mini-games available and mascot appearances.
Planning a winter escape to Korea? Here’s your chance to get a head start on travel planning. There’ll be travel agents that will help you plan the perfect getaway with customised travel packages to suit your interests and budget.
Shoppers can also enter a lucky draw to win incredible prizes, including winter ski holidays at High1 Resort and Monapark Yongpyong Resort in Korea. And if you buy a tour from participating travel agents, you’ll stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including $500 dining vouchers at SEORAE Korean Charcoal BBQ.

It may seem random that a Korea Winter Fiesta is happening in June. However, we think it’s a refreshing change from the year-end Christmas activations. And if you’re the sort to go into a mall to escape the heat, why not head into a snow globe instead?
