Johor Bahru remains a hot weekend destination for us Singaporeans, and for good reason – retail prices are so much lower there than here. Dig a little deeper, though, and you’ll find outlet stores where you can get your stuff for even cheaper.

These shops sell their off-season clothes, shoes, and bags at heavily-discounted prices, and with a bunch of these littered around JB, even the most broke amongst us will be able to find new items to spice up our wardrobes with.

1. al-iKhsaN Factory Outlet Taman Universiti – sports shoes and soccer jerseys

al-iKhsaN’s known for its sneakers from brands like Adidas and Puma at the lowest prices. For example, an adidas Cloudfoam Racer TR can go for as low as RM209 (~S$69)! On top of that, you’ll also find authentic football jerseys, which are a hit amongst EPL-loving Singaporeans.

You can find their regular stores in malls such as AEON Tebrau City and AEON Bukit Indah, but for even cheaper deals, head a little further up North. You’ll be able to find their factory outlet nestled in the midst of Taman Universiti. If you’re itching to replace your worn-out running shoes without breaking your bank account, that’s where you should look.
