Harvey Norman Now Has Home Appliances Most Wanted By Homeowners On Auction At Millenia Walk

Harvey Norman Charity Auction 2019

Getting a new appliance for your house is an unavoidable process – whether you’re a proud owner of a new BTO flat, or simply replacing one that’s showing signs of old age. But your next shopping trip to Harvey Norman Millenia Walk Flagship Store could also do good for the needy, with a charity auction event happening between 13th-14th July 2019.

The weekend affair will allow you to bid for new items like a washer, fridge and even a mattress, with 100% of the sale proceeds going directly to Sian Chay Medical Institution in collaboration with SupportWorks. Besides this, the whole family can also get involved with free Tui Na massages, consultations with TCM practitioners, and the chance to get $10 shopping vouchers.

Here’s what you can expect from the charity event:

It doesn’t matter what people say – to me, shopping is a sport. Which is why breaks in-between the discount-hunting and model comparisons are completely necessary. Thankfully for all customers at the event, Sian Chay Medical Institution will be on site to provide free Tui Na massages conducted by professionals, with any spend at Harvey Norman Millenia Walk Flagship Store event on 13th and 14th July 2019.

The elderly crowd will especially enjoy this treat while the rest of the fambam shop for new homeware.

To top it off, with any spend over the weekend, there will be free consultation for all customers to get their health-related queries addressed. Customers can also follow up for acupuncture and seek other treatments at subsidised rates, at any of the 15 clinics at Sian Chay Medical Institution.

Aside from participating in the auction, you can also pledge donations with SupportWorks, a face-to-face fundraising organisation that raises funds for a range of charities, including Sian Chay Medical Institution.

Extending a helping hand will reward you – donors who sign up with Sian Chay Brand Ambassadors for Sian Chay’s Direct Debit Donor Programme will also be able to redeem a $10 Harvey Norman shopping voucher for use between 13th – 15th July.

Additionally, Harvey Norman will be donating $2 for every transaction during this weekend to Sian Chay Medical Institution, so you should still do all your house shopping even if you opt out of the charity auction.

Should your transaction include a minimum spend of $100, you won’t leave empty-handed. The Sure Win Prize includes handy items like portable fans and even cameras! Volunteering your services is just one way we can give back to society. But a charity auction and pledging donations at Harvey Norman are equally great options to also help those in need. Shopping is a usual weekend family activity anyway, so you might as well give back to society while you’re at it.

Head down to Harvey Norman Millenia Walk Flagship Superstore from 13th – 14th July 2019, and you could make not just a difference in your home, but also in someone else’s life.
