Whether you’re a pro in the water or a swim noob who only knows “froggy” style, swimming is probably an activity most of us would remember from our childhood. After all, there are plenty of swimming schools in Singapore to learn the basics, from holding your breath underwater to back floats.
For parents who are looking to introduce their little ones to the water, Happy Fish Swim School has just launched its seventh outlet in Bedok. Featuring a home concept with premium amenities and eco-friendly facilities, here’s what you can expect here:
Happy Fish Home @ Bedok offers new swimmers a safe environment to quite literally test the waters. It also stands as the largest eco-friendly indoor swimming facility in Singapore. Using multi-functional heat pumps, the pool is kept warm by releasing cold air into the surroundings, which means you won’t have to worry about shivering every time you go in for a dip.
They also have designated dry and wet areas with anti-slip floor tiles around the facility to prevent visitors – both young and old – from possible injuries.

Those who’ve got a hankering for a cuppa or simply need to take a breather while waiting for your kiddo to be done with class can head to the reception area. Not only does the lounge stand as the largest across its outlets, but it also offers complimentary WiFi as well as a free flow of hot beverages and water.

The Bedok outlet boasts Happy Fish’s largest heated indoor lap pool, which spans 20M-long and 30M-wide. This upgraded facility offers more seating areas around the pool for parents to supervise lessons, plus classes for adults and older children to pick up some swimming skills.

Situated at one end of the lap pool is an area for toddlers to safely dip their toes and learn how to swim. The sectioned pool provides kids with a long shallow ledge, plus an in-pool rock climbing wall to help boost their confidence and mobility skills. With a trained coach by their side, kiddos will be able to grip onto the rocks and safely move from one end to another.
Complimentary toiletries such as towels, plus paraben-free natural shampoo and shower gel are provided.

Changing a baby’s diaper or cleaning them up after an accidental mess in public places can be quite the challenge for most parents. At this branch, parents needn’t worry about post-lesson clean-ups as the facility offers a nursing room with diaper changing stations and 10 small bathtubs.
Adults and older children will be able to take full advantage of the locker room, with its 30 shower stalls and Dyson hairdryers at the vanity section.
Happy Fish Home @ Bedok guarantees a one-of-a-kind swimming experience with their in-pool rock climbing wall and heated lap-pool for your kiddos to have fun while improving their skills and confidence in the water.
If you’re interested in signing your little ones up for swim lessons, you can opt for a complimentary trial lesson. Else, you can purchase a class package:
