It may not be October yet, but you can already sense that Halloween is nigh. With pumpkin spice in the air and costumes start coming alive, what better way to celebrate the spooky season than to spend it at Universal Studios Singapore and S.E.A. Aquarium.
From now till 10th November, Resorts World Sentosa is hosting a bevvy of fun and exciting family-friendly activities from dawn to dusk. Whether you’re a fan of DreamWorks Animation’s Trolls and Illumination’s Minion Monsters or Universal Studios Singapore’s Halloween Horror Nights, there’s something for everyone. Keep reading to find out what’s in store for all Halloween lovers.
If you or your kids go absolutely wild whenever the Trolls or Po appear on TV, this is the perfect time to get up close and personal with these lovable characters and get a photo memento they can keep for a lifetime.
Besides the lovable Trolls, you and your family can also be on the lookout for DreamWorks Animation’s Po from Kung Fu Panda showing off his moves as everybody’s kung fu fighting.
What’s Halloween without trick or treating? At this year’s Trick or Thrills, everyone young and old will get to collect all the sweets their hearts desire from candy ambassadors all around the park.
At the New York zone, watch out for Sesame Street’s Count von Count cruising around with Abby Cadabby and Cookie Monster in a candy cavalcade.
Over at the Hollywood zone, it’s not hard to spot the Minion Monsters giving out some tricky treats. This is also the debut of the Wolfman Minion on stage!
Gru’s daughters Edith, Agnes, and Margo will also be dressed for the occasion and dancing. Remember to say the three magic words to get your sweets – and we’re not talking about “please” and “thank you”!
The Trail of Treats continues on to Far Far Away and Madagascar, so there’s plenty of snacks and sweets to fill up bellies on the ride home from Resorts World Sentosa.

Halloween Horror Nights are the most iconic events to ever happen at Universal Studios Singapore, and there have been many frightened souls and stained pants over the past nine editions in Singapore. This year, take a blast into the past in the first-ever Halloween Horror Nights Exhibition where you can relive all the scary moments you’ve experienced through props, costumes, and haunted houses on display.
Advanced booking is required to take a trip down this memory lane. Be warned though: Even though it’s only an exhibition, it can get quite intense and is not recommended for guests under the age of 16.
Halloween at its core is about the treats and the costumes, and since we’ve already got the treats covered, all that’s left is for you to dress to impress. Turn up for Universal Studios Singapore’s Trick or Thrills in your best Halloween costumes and you can stand to win prizes from attraction tickets to retail and dining vouchers!
All you have to do to join the weekly costume contest is:
Winners will be notified on Instagram.
If the costume you wear to the theme park is better than Count von Count’s, you might even be spotted by the mystery judges and win daily prizes at Universal Studios Singapore! It’s like talent scouting but better.
For a more aquatic adventure, head over to S.E.A. Aquarium to have a jolly Halloween with Pinkfong and Baby Shark. If the catchy earworm isn’t already repeating inside your head, it will eventually once you step inside the marine world and every step you take on the musical walkway turns into a tune from the international sensation hit Baby Shark.
Flip-over boards will also give you and your family some more insight into the apex predators and why they’re actually not that scary. There’s even a multiplayer game you can play to bond with your kids whilst saving the seas from pollution.
You wouldn’t want to miss out on visiting the S.E.A. Aquarium this Halloween as it’s the first time Pinkfong and the Shark Family are appearing in their Halloween costumes live! They’ll only be swimming around on Saturdays and select Sundays in the morning, so plan ahead of time. If not, keep an eye out for the candy ambassadors roving the park all day for some sweet treats.

Halloween doesn’t have to be all about ghosts and jump scares. Sometimes, having a light-hearted day trick-or-treating and meeting your favourite movie characters in their Halloween garb can make for a more innocent and fun season.
Those yearning for the thrill of blood-curdling moments also have no lack of options at Universal Studios Singapore’s Trick or Thrills with the after-dark activities and the Universal Studios Singapore Halloween Horror Nights exhibition to fill their adrenaline meters.
You can also take a break from all the trick-or-treating and go “Die-ning With The Dead” over at KT’s Grill with a Halloween-inspired menu. Adults can indulge in the “Feast On Fear” course while the younger ones can dig into chicken cheesy meatballs in the “Witch’s Cauldron”.
To get the most out of your day down at Resorts World Sentosa, you can also book a Halloween-themed staycation at Equarius Hotel with their Scary Sleepover Package (from $298++). The 2D1N package includes a room decked out with scary and photo-worthy decor, a scare package with two Halloween masks and treats, and complimentary parking.
Those who have also made plans to visit Universal Studios Singapore can also opt for the Scary Thrills Package (from $398++) that also includes two adult tickets to Universal Studios Singapore to enjoy Trick or Thrills. After they get their photo-op with Count Dracula, they can retire to their Halloween-themed rooms with a scare package awaiting them too.
