Haidilao Wisma Atria Has A Build-A-Toy Station To DIY Cute Plushies

Haidilao Wisma Atria DIY plushies

A hotpot feast and Build-A-Bear-esque activity in one? Sounds like the makings of a perfect outing, and one that gives you an adorable souvenir to remember it by, too. Haidilao never fails to delight us, whether it’s the array of HDL freebies to collect or the Jellycat-style vegetable plushies they gave out.

Continuing with the plushie cuteness, the Haidilao Wisma Atria outlet has a build-a-toy station where diners can DIY plushies for $19.90. All you have to do is spend $128 on your meal after GST, which will be a breeze especially if you jio your friends to dine with you – or your particularly famished partner.

Available exclusively at the Wisma Atria outlet, Haidilao has a DIY plushie station where you can build your dream stuffed animal from scratch. There’s a special activity room dedicated to it, where you’ll be greeted by an entire wall of outfits plus storage tubs packed with accessories.

The plushie base options spans a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, rabbits, bears, monkeys, elephants, and unicorns.

Choose your cuddle companion, and the HDL staff will stuff it with cotton right before your eyes. Feel free to request whether you’d like a poofier plush that’s fully stuffed, or a lighter-stuffed one that’s floppy and malleable.

Record a custom voice message or a funny sound effect if you’d like for an additional $4, the mini speaker will be inserted in your plushie. The same price will also fetch you a pulsating “heartbeat” device, so your plushie can come alive. Thereafter, the HDL stuff will suture it up nice and secure.

Arguably the highlight of the DIY plushie experience, the next step is to dress it up. Take note that each plushie comes with 1 set of clothes and 1 accessory by default, but additional clothes are priced $10-$15.

Choose between casual, everyday clothes or themed outfits like a basketball jersey and shorts, or a floral hanbok. There are even cute little uniforms for your soft toy to become a police officer, pilot, or taekwondo master.

Options for accessories are practically endless, with additional pieces priced from $1-$10 each. Think beaded bracelets, sunnies, little plush handbags, and cameras on lanyards which you can strap around your plush toy’s neck – just to name a few examples

The branded options with designs modelled after familiar Coach, Prada, and Burberry motifs got a chuckle out of us. A slight consolation for those of us who can’t afford the real deal!

Your new cuddle buddy even comes with a birth certificate, listing your brand new plushie’s weight, height, and time of “birth”. And there you have it, a one-of-a-kind souvenir to remember your HDL outing by.
