Open-air cinemas? It’s a golden buzzer yes for us. There’s something about chilling on picnic mats under the stars that feels oh-so-romantic. From 3rd-20th August 2023, Fort Canning Green will be transformed into a picturesque open-air cinema complete with live DJs and food.
Movie buffs, you know it – Films At The Fort is back with its annual lineup of movies. This time, you can expect everything from classics like Dirty Dancing for lovebirds, to new releases like Top Gun: Maverick for families. Tickets are already on sale!

Films At The Fort is situated in a natural amphitheatre within Fort Canning Park. We’re talking about a lush green field equipped with a giant projector screen and fairy lights, topped with a view of skyscrapers in the distance.
Grab your besties, boyfie, and family and pack along your best camera – you’re gonna get lots of vibey photos for Lemon8 and Instagram. Since the event kicks off right before sunset at 5.30pm, visitors can expect to enjoy both the golden hour and twinkles of stars in the night sky.
Good vibes will be in full swing as there’ll be a DJ and instrumentalists performing nightly. Not to mention, you can also fill your tummy at food stands by The Providore, selling mains and desserts.

Any sensible planner will know to bring along a picnic mat so everyone’s booty stays dry. But if you don’t have one at home or would prefer a more comfy seat on the grass, you can also rent a backrest for $6.
