Whether you’re a student or a working adult, some mornings you pull yourself out of bed and all you want is a good cup of coffee. We all know the feeling – the need for a caffeine shot that will set the world right again, putting you in the right mindset for the rest of the day.
The Nescafe Dolce Gusto Oblo is here to save your mornings. Far more convenient than your friendly neighbourhood barista, it dispenses a wide range of beverages both cold and hot, right from the comfort of your home.
The machine gives you the ability to make your own coffee and customise it according to your own preferences – e.g to be creamier if needed with an extra shot. Other features include extraction pressure thermoblock technology, beverage size selection, 0.8 litre water tank and an adjustable drip tray.
Machines are meant to make life easier, and the Dolce Gusto Oblo does just that. You also don’t have to worry about spilling coffee power and making a mess, as they utilise an easy to use capsule technology found in most coffee machines.
One of the key selling points thus has to be how the Oblo doesn’t blow a hole in your wallet. It retails at S$169 from September at major departmental stores and supermarkets. One box of 16 capsules costs $10.90, which adds up to $0.68 per cuppa. Oh, and one more perk: this machine automatically switches off after 4 minutes of inactivity, making it ideal for those of us with goldfish memories.
