Corona SunSets Festival Is A Food & Music Festival At CHIJMES With $12 Specialty Cocktails Like Corona Sour And Corojito

Corona SunSets Festival in Singapore

There’s nothing better than lazily lounging in the heat, especially if you have an ice-cold bottle of Corona in hand. But the Corona SunSets Festival at CHIJMES will do you one better. This coming Saturday (6 October 2018), they’re offering specialty cocktails – adding a refreshing splash of Corona to classic drinks like Whisky Sours and Mojitos.

But besides lapping up these cocktails, there’ll also be plenty of gourmet food and live music performances to enjoy. Here’s what you can do at the Corona SunSets Festival:

Try their specialty Corona Cocktails

Corona SunSets, Corona Sunrise, Corona Sour, Corojito & Corona-Rita

Corona SunSets.

The fanciest most of us have seen Corona? Most probably in its traditional form, with a lemon wedge slotted in. But they certainly take things up a notch at Corona SunSets Festival with their 4 specialty Corona cocktails ($12) – especially since all of them come thoroughly doused with a spritz of Corona.

The Corona Sunrise – vodka, Elderflower liqueur, Corona.

Try their classic cocktail Corona SunSets – it’s a blend of gin and corona, with a slight tinge of lemon and passionfruit. For a stronger punch, their Corona Sunrise comes with vodka, Elderflower liqueur, and a hint of lemon juice. Their other cocktails, the Corona Sour and Corojito, are also worth a try since they’re a unique take on classic drinks we’ve all tried.

The Corona Sour comes with bourbon, mangro fruit puree, and of course, a splash of Corona.

El Mero Mero’s own specialty Corona cocktail – the Corona-Rita (U.P. $28), a classic lime margarita with a twist, will also be available for just $12. It comes with a loaded Corona for full impact – the more margarita you drink, the more Corona will come guzzling out.

El Mero Mero’s Corona-Rita is available all year round.

If you’re craving for a regular bottle of Corona, you can also get these for $12 – a bucket of 5 bottles for $49.

Feast on gourmet food and bar bites

El Mero Mero, The Winery Tapas | Bar, and Anglo Indian Cafe & Bar

The Winery Tapas | Bar is serving up a huge range of tasty finger food.

Here’s a chance to try the famed food from CHIJMES, with bar bites from restaurants like El Mero Mero, The Winery Tapas | Bar, and Anglo Indian Cafe & Bar. From Spanish tapas to Mexican street food, you can try dishes like Ham Croquetas ($6), Samosas ($5), and a Cold Cuts Platter ($20) – which comes with a spread of chorizo, lomo (tenderloin ham), and salchichon (lean Iberico pork).

DJ Hokulani will also make an appearance from 8PM to 11PM, and you’ll be dancing along to the rhythmic beats.
