With the latest Lilo & Stitch movie hitting theatres around the island as we speak, there’s much buzz and hubbub surrounding the lil’ blue furball. The lovable alien has been making his rounds in Singapore, and we can’t get enough of him, as evident by the crowds at the recent 626 Party pop-up at VivoCity.
Just in time for the June hols, another Stitch-themed shindig is coming our way. Gardens by the Bay is hosting their annual Children’s Festival, and Stitch and friends will be making an appearance yet again. From whizzing down a snaking slide to spectacular light shows happening daily, here’s what you can expect at GBTB’s free-entry Children’s Festival 2025.
The Children’s Festival 2025 will be taking place at Garden by the Bay’s Supertree Grove, from 24th May to 15th June 2025, from 10am to 9pm daily. As with previous years’ iteration of the family-friendly event, it’ll be free for all to enter, although some charges may apply for festivities like craft workshops, as well as carnival rides and games.
This year, the Children’s Festival will sport a Lilo & Stitch-theme to coincide with the premiere of the franchise’s new live action movie. As such, fans of Experiment 626 can expect plenty of Stitch-infused activities, craft workshops, a retail pop-up, and even a daily light show.
The importance of family is a recurring theme in Lilo & Stitch, so it’s no surprise that Children’s Festival 2025 is the perfect attraction when you’re looking to bring the whole fam together for some fun over the June holidays. In particular, the little ones will have a field day as they scamper all over the 4 activity stations.
These include the Forest of Belonging, an inflatable playspace that’s inspired by Stitch’s journey throughout the films. Over at Stitch’s Mischief Makers, creative minds can go wild at its kinetic sand pits, while a galactic escapade awaits young spacefarers at Space Adventure.
Amongst the 4 activity stations, The Great ‘Ohana Wave is undoubtedly the highlight of the bunch, as it’s a towering slide that’s nearly 7m tall where the kids can have a whale of a time speeding down.
Apart from the activity stations, swing by on 7th to 8th June 2025 to take part in an adorable Meet & Greet session with mascots of the Lilo & Stitch cast. After posing for your photos, see if you can snag a memento by heading to the nearby carnival, where you’ll be able to partake in a slew of games and rides set in the backdrop of both sunny Hawaii and space.
