It’s the March school holidays – and so begins the annual struggle for parents to entertain their kids for a week! Hint: Look to the East. An inflatable water themed park has popped up at Changi City Point, the first-ever of its kind at the newly opened Urban Plaza and Open Plaza.
Packed full of attractions like a humongous 5-metre high water slide, an inflatable obstacle course on water and even a dunking machine, the Adventures in Aqualand water park is where the whole fam will want to be this holiday! Here’s what your kids would love to do:
Navigate through the float’s maze and enjoy the view at the top, before ending off the adventure with a splash – down the tube slide! Yep, this mini obstacle course will challenge even the most fleet-footed of kids. Think of it as a huge bouncy castle, but on water and with tons more to offer than just jumping around.
Note: This station is for kids below the age of 6
What’s a party without a dunking machine? This all-time favourite at carnivals, parties and even fund-raisers will make an appearance at this water park. All kids have to do to dunk their sibling by hitting at the target with a ball, and their sibling who’s sitting on the platform will fall right into the tank!
Besides testing out your kiddo’s aiming skills, this machine will definitely garner loads of laughs.
Win-win situation: work up a sweat while having fun. And with these paddle boats, it’s definitely leg day for the kids! In a ring pool, these paddle boats mimic the ones you see on lakes in those 1970 movies.
Be as chill or competitive as you like – It could be a leisurely paddle around the pool, or an intense bumper cars game on water!
Note: these paddle boats are for children weighing less than 30kg
If your kids are looking for a thrill, head over to the Giant Climb & Slide, the biggest of these larger-than-life inflatables. This giant water slide – nearly two storeys in height – is a definite must-do for the fearless.
Climb up the rock wall at the back before taking the plunge. It’s safe too, with a 0.5m deep pool with a padded bottom at the end of the slide.
Note: this station is for kids aged 6 years and above
Don’t worry if you’ve forgotten your swim gear – you can head over to the booths beside the registration counter to get swimwear and floats!
There will be booths selling yummy ice cream sundaes during the event too, so the whole family will be all smiles throughout the day.
Just to make sure everyone stays safe while having a blast at the water theme park, lifeguards and medics will be around at the first-aid station – so worried parents can put their mind at ease.
If you’re racking your brain planning for a fun day out instead of lazing around at home, head over to Changi City Point! With just $30 spent in the mall, you can redeem a complimentary ticket to the water park for a solid 30 minutes of playtime.
Do note that you have to be registered as a Frasers Rewards member to qualify. For more information, please proceed to their Customer Service Counter located at Level 2.
Hey, you can even get more shopping done while the kids have a splashin’ good time!
