BTS The City Arirang Is Coming To SG This Dec, The Immersive Fan Experience’s Only Stop In SEA

BTS The City Arirang in Singapore

If you were among the 144,000-plus fans stuck in digital queues during BTS’ June 2026 concert pre-sales, only to walk away empty-handed, we feel you. Between platform glitches and scalpers snatching tickets, getting a seat at the group’s Singapore shows was practically a survival game.

But before you resign yourself to streaming Dynamite and My Universe from your bedroom, we have some good news. BTS The City Arirang is making its 1st and only stop in Southeast Asia right here in Singapore in December 2026, bringing a month-long lineup of BTS-themed activities and events across the city.

A city-wide fan experience organised by HYBE, the group’s management company, BTS The City Arirang transforms different parts of a host city into a BTS “playground”. This includes installations, light shows, interactive activities, and special events inspired by the group’s music and ongoing ARIRANG world tour.

The experience debuted in Seoul in March 2026 before travelling to 4 other cities: Las Vegas, Busan, London, and New York. Along the way, it has illuminated iconic landmarks such as Lotte World Tower, the Empire State Building, and the London Arirang Eye with BTS-inspired displays.

In collaboration with the Singapore Tourism Board (STB), Singapore is next in line to get the BTS treatment, with BTS The City Arirang set to take over the city from 1st to 31st December 2026.

This will run alongside the group’s highly anticipated concerts at the National Stadium on 17th, 19th, 20th, and 22nd December, marking BTS’s 1st performances in Singapore in 7 years.

With plenty of activities to build up the excitement ahead of the concerts, here’s what to expect at the various activations across Singapore:

The city’s skyline will get in on the action too, with spots around Marina Bay and the Singapore River glowing red each night from 8th to 22nd December, in tribute to ARIRANG’s signature colour.

These include the Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, The Helix Bridge, and Anderson Bridge, alongside Millenia Tower, OUE Bayfront, and The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore.

Immerse in art & multimedia experiences inspired by BTS

Mandai Wildlife Reserve’s new immersive multimedia experience, Exploria, will get a BTS-themed takeover, while National Gallery Singapore will pair the group’s music with artworks from Pop After Pop: Art Around Us for a dedicated art trail.

Over at Sentosa, fans can look forward to BTS-inspired installations.

ARMYs can keep the party going long after the sun goes down at Zouk Singapore, one of the city’s most iconic clubbing destinations. The venue will host opening and closing night events, complete with dedicated music and programming.

Sentosa will also turn up the volume with a rave and drone show set to BTS’s music, so consider this your cue to brush up on your song catalogue and get ready to sing your heart out.

Missed out on tickets to all 4 shows? December isn’t a write-off just yet.

With a month of BTS-inspired light shows, art trails and music-filled events lined up across the island, there are still plenty of ways to get your ARMY fix. STB will be releasing more details in due course, so keep your eyes peeled for updates!
