Beyond the familiar Solace Studios and Dollop Print Club photobooths, there’s a new themed photo studio in Singapore that’s perfect for switching up your next photo dump on IG.
Just an 8-minute walk from Somerset MRT, Blind Animals brings things a step further with immersive spaces that make your photos look like they were taken outside of Singapore.
Blind Animals is a themed photobooth in Singapore and the brainchild of sisters Scarlet and Ruby, who tapped into their creative expertise to turn their ideas into a fully realised physical space.
Developing the photobooth concepts took months of planning, from digitally mapping out each room to working closely with suppliers on the booth elements. This even involved using the game The Sims to experiment with different layouts before construction began.
Each photo strip across all themes and frames is priced at $10 for 2 strips.
One of its most aesthetic photo spots is the lotus pond-themed room, which creates the illusion that you’ve stepped straight into a lush pond. Green lotus leaves, pink-and-white flowers, and lotus seed pods are set against a soft blue backdrop, while you can tuck yourself between the foliage and use the gentle lighting to create dreamy photos.

There’s also a cute, retro bathroom-inspired photobooth, where you’re surrounded by pink walls and vintage-style fixtures that give the space a playful feel. You’ll find a small white sink with shiny gold faucets and little toiletries that mimic a real bathroom.
Interact with the props, sit by the sink, or even climb into the bathtub, and make use of its quirky details to get creative with your shots.

For a strong dose of nostalgia, step into their Hong Kong-inspired space that looks straight out of a Wong Kar Wai film. Bathed in warm colours, the set captures the moody atmosphere of Old Hong Kong, with deep red walls, wooden fixtures, and hanging chains adding to its vintage charm. This makes for the perfect backdrop for cinematic shots.
If you’re going for something more minimalist, you can also take self-portrait shots against a plain white backdrop.
With plenty of unique setups to choose from, these photobooths are a fun way to give your social media feed a fresh new look while capturing cutesy moments with your favourite people. So grab your friends, pick your favourite setup, and start striking those poses.
