School’s out and the June holidays are swinging around once again. Make full use of the school break and treat your kiddos out to a day of thrills and spills, sans the iPad. Aviva Superfundae, the largest family-friendly “fun-nival” of its kind is gracing our shores for its 5th year running on 15th June 2019 at The Meadow, Gardens By The Bay.
Look forward to adrenaline pumping action for adults and kids alike and take part in anything from tug-of-war to arts and craft workshops to create some lasting memories as a family – there’s even a parents-only cartwheel race to pit yourselves against other #fitspo fams.
Experience 3 different types of play – Connective Play, Active Play, and Creative Play – designed for ultimate fun and learning to help encourage communication and interaction between parent and child, develop psychomotor skills and harness creativity to unleash your child’s inner Picasso.
Here’s more of what you can look forward to:
Instead of letting your little bubs hole up in their room watching cartoons, head to the carnival for some fun in the sun where they’ll engage in activities that’ll train their agility, endurance and ability to strategise.

Stop by Craycrayspray Waterplay for an all-out water battle that will have your kids racing to avoid being soaked whilst working their hand-eye coordination to douse others with their NERF Supersoakers. Don’t forget to bring swimming costumes or a change of clothes!
The whole family can look forward to a larger than life version of Whack-A-Mole, but this time around, you’ll be the ‘mole’. Test your reflexes and bob your head up and down to avoid getting hit by an inflatable mallet.
Hectic schedules and long working hours can make it hard to find time to bond with your child, but you can make up for lost time at Mega Hungry Hippo – a supersized version of the childhood game we know and love where you’ll have to catch as much food as you can to win!
No carnival is complete without some adrenaline pumping action, and what better game to get your heart racing and strengthen your family bonds than the Tug-Of-Four competition. Team up with your kids and take part in the family challenge to see if your ‘house’ will emerge as the winner.
Though there’s no iron throne to seize, you’ll be rewarded for your efforts. The Tug-of-four competition will be held at 1.30pm, 3.30pm and 5.30pm.

You can also take part in the Donut Dash race, and have your child sit on doughnut-shaped inflatables. Flex your muscles and drag them to the finish line, and remember, donut give up!
Steal the show and impress your kids in a Daddy Mummy Cartwheel Race or work with your kids and race to the finish line with the Wheelbarrow Race.

Take a break from the action and attend one of the free workshops at the event. The best part? Your kiddos will get to bring their creations home with them. Plus, you won’t even need to clean up after them once they’re done.
Help your child unleash their inner Picasso at the Mosaic Workshop. Watch them get creative and pick from a mixture of colourful tiles to form a multi-coloured mosaic tile. Alternatively, scoot over to the Jay Jay Jolly Workshop where your little bub can make their very own memo board using the materials provided.
Head down to Aviva Superfundae on 15th June 2019 for a full day of meaningful fun and create precious memories with your family and loved ones from 10AM-9PM at Gardens By The Bay. That’s not all, all ticket holders under 12-years-old will receive goodie bags brimming with toys and yummy snacks.
And even though it’s mainly fun and games on the agenda, you can take heart in knowing that each game is specially designed to enrich your child’s cognitive and psychomotor development, letting them play and learn concurrently!
It is through such purposeful play that Aviva wants to remind families to make time where it counts the most as those who play together, stay together.
If you’re worried about the heat, fret not because free ice cream will be available throughout the day to help you cool off. Come nightfall, cap off the day and unwind with a movie screening of Moana.
Instead of letting your kids spend hours on their iPads at home, bring them out for a day packed with fun activities and quality family time.

Here are all the best things to do this weekend in Singapore.
Just an hour away from KL!
Taichung is only an hour by High Speed Rail from Taipei or Taoyuan station.
No more stressing over what to get your loved ones for Christmas.
Gone are the days when family photoshoots used to be boring and extra formal.
Meet new-to-Singapore species as well.
