The Finders Keepers Markets are held at the Australian Technology Park bi-annually. This market supports artists from local and regional areas from Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, offering one of the widest range of arts and crafts. If you’re lucky to be in Sydney for their markets, I urge you to definitely have a look. Not only do they have an array of arts and crafts, from handmade jewellery, letter-pressed cards to D.I.Y. sewing kits and chalk boards, their food is also sourced from Sydney Food Trucks that are difficult to get all in one location!
Must Try: Enrol yourself into one of the workshops Finders Keepers have to offer (last time it was making your own terraniums and font painting- they are super fun and guaranteed you will meet some amazing people).

The coveted Grounds of Alexandria are a must see with whimsical outdoor furnishing likened to an adult version of Alice’s Wonderland. Not only is there a kids play area and a miniature farm, there are also stalls of baked goods, ice cold drinks and gorgeous, blooming flowers by Garlands, all surrounded by a magical garden.
The Grounds holds a small farmers market over the first weekend of every month offering special treats like local honey and jam donuts.
Must Try: Drink the Rose Lemonade from the Grounds or head over to The Salt Meats Cheese store next door. They offer fresh local pasta and boy, are they to die for.

Opening Hours: First Saturday and Sunday of every month, 8am to 3pm.
Eveleigh markets are held every Saturday at Carriageworks, giving you the opportunity to meet the local farmers and producers all over the state. You know where your food is coming from now! These markets have one of the friendliest vibes and the farmers are more than willing to talk to you about how they grow their products and give you recipes.
Must Try: Strike up a conversation with one of the owners. You’ll learn something about them and it will make you appreciate what you’re eating even more!

Salt water, waves lapping onto the sand? What is better than having the sounds of the ocean next to you whilst shopping at the markets? You can find absolutely anything here. The vibe is vibrant and bustling (it is after all, the most popular beach in Sydney) so be sure to look around and see if you can find the best gelato place in Bondi!
Must Try: Finished browsing the markets? The Bondi Beach to Tamarama coastal walk is bound to awe you.

The Glebe markets are a cornucopia of sound, movement and colour. This is one of the greatest markets in all of Sydney. If you’re a vintage lover, this market is for you. From CDs to books, fashion and food, you will be left spellbound by the abundance of creativity and exquisite items made to offer.
Must Try: Order yourself a gozleme and bask in the glorious Sydney sunlight as you people watch on the lawn in the middle of the markets.

The markets at the Rocks is one of the longest running markets in Sydney. Not only is the usual car-filled streets turned into hundreds of stalls of extraordinary designs of woodwork or jewellery, but behind the backdrop of sandstone buildings are boutiques filled with quirky designs that you cannot find anywhere else. Take a walk through the laneways of the Rocks, you’ll be bound to find something new.
Must Try: Stay and watch Darren Germain create his Space Art, or visit the markets on Fridays to indulge the foodie in you.

Up along the coast with a stunning view of the ocean is the Beaches Markets that are filled with fresh fruit and veggies, straw baskets and stunning local boutiques selling jewellery and fashion. What is also great about this market is the price. Cheap and good produce. Oh, and they sometimes offer pony rides and have a petting zoo. What is there not to love?
Must Try: Grab yourself some fresh produce and organic food and listen to the local artists playing. Not only is the food super healthy, it is also extremely tasty!

Round She Goes is a Market selling (as well as buying!) vintage and pre-loved designer fashion, jewellery and accessories. Sequins and dresses with vibrant prints take you back all the way to the 60’s. Do you know what’s even special about this market? IT IS ONLINE TOO! Round she goes is held in Sydney three times and the first market date this year is Saturday 16th of May!
