It’s October – which means spooky season is upon us. And if you’re not someone who likes haunted houses and getting jump-scared every 5 minutes, we’ve got just the event for you. Angry Birds is taking over participating HDB Malls from now till 31st October 2026, bringing some Halloween fun right to the heartlands.
Expect Angry Birds-themed carnival games, a spooky bouncy castle, exclusive merch to redeem, plus meet-and-greets with Red the main Angry Birds star, and a Halloween photo booth at selected malls. It’s the perfect hang-out activity with friends or the whole fam.
Get ready to put your Angry Birds skills to the test IRL. Existing ShopperLink members can redeem 1 gameplay with 200 ShopperLink Reward Points, while those who aren’t members yet can simply sign up at the event to join in.
ShopperLink is HDB Malls’ loyalty programme, where you can earn points while shopping at participating malls. Each shopper can redeem up to 3 gameplays throughout the campaign.
There are 3 Angry Birds-themed challenges to tackle. Start with the Angry Birds Giant Slingshot, where you’ll launch a bird towards the targets just like in the OG mobile game.
Then, test your aim at the Flying Birds Bean Bag Toss, before wrapping things up with a round of Halloween Mini Golf featuring Red and the pigs.
Complete all 3 games, and you’ll even get to redeem an exclusive Angry Birds Notebook as your reward.

If you’re there with kiddos who still have energy to burn after all that slingshot action, point them towards the Angry Birds Spooky Bouncy. The Halloween-themed inflatable is available at selected malls, and my oh my, it is a treat for the little ones. Plus, each play can be redeemed with 150 ShopperLink Reward Points.

After all that bouncing, keep an eye out for Red, who’ll be making appearances at selected HDB Malls throughout the event. You can snap a photo with everyone’s favourite perpetually annoyed bird during the scheduled meet-and-greet sessions.
There’ll also be a Halloween-themed photo booth at selected locations, so you can squeeze in a few spooky-season snaps while you’re there. Each shopper can redeem 1 complimentary photo strip by liking and following the respective mall’s Facebook page.

While you’re there, don’t miss a couple of cute Angry Birds merch up for grabs. You can use 500 ShopperLink Reward Points to redeem an Angry Birds Foldable Eco-Tote Bag and/or an Angry Birds Reusable Eco Cup, while stocks last.
Since you can earn ShopperLink Reward Points when you spend at participating HDB Malls, this is also a nice way to put those accumulated points to use – especially if you’re already an Angry Birds fan. Redemption started as early as 21st September, so don’t wait anymore if you want a guaranteed chance of securing the merch!
For a family-friendly Halloween activity, the Angry Birds Halloween events at HDB Malls are an easy one to add to the list. Plus, with activations happening across different heartland malls, you don’t have to travel across the island.
Simply head down for the games and merch, or pick one of the selected locations with extras like the Spooky Bouncy, Meet & Greet with Red, and Halloween photo booth. Just remember that the line-up differs from mall to mall, so check the schedule before making your way down.
