First review: Eatzi Gourmet

Hey everyone, I’m pretty new here. I decided to start a blog because that’s what I do best and it kinda goes hand in hand with the reviews that I do. So readers would be able to navigate their way here for more details on my personal experience.

So let’s start!

Recently I went to have dinner at Eatzi Gourmet, it is a restaurant located in only two places in Singapore. Namely, SAFRA Yishun and Bedok Point. This time I had my dinner at the outlet in Bedok Point.

So this is the menu for the Daily Set Lunch. I say, this is a pretty good deal. However, it is only available from 11am to 2.30pm.

Calling out to all students!! $6.80 for a main course, drink and ice cream, being a student as well, I would have to say that this set is VERY affordable for restaurant standards.

I ordered Clam Chowder soup cause I’ve been craving for it for quite some time. Honestly, it tastes kinda average, not horrible just that it doesn’t taste special like how all clam chowders do. However, according to my mum, she mentioned that she’s tried the Clam Chowder during an earlier visit and tasted pretty good. So I’m not really sure how I would rate this.

Garlic bread that comes together with the soup. Well, it tastes like garlic bread.

I ordered Braised Lamb Shank. It costs $17.50. If you have tried The Secret Recipe’s lamb shank, you would know how awesome it tastes. With that similah expectation, I was hoping that this would taste somewhat alike. But I was wrong. Let me break this down.

Pros: Tender meat

Cons: Gravy is not suitable for this dish

Therefore, I didn’t really liked this dish. But I liked the tenderness of the meat.

My dad ordered one of the larger steaks. The steaks are a MUST TRY!! I believe any kind of steak would be satisfactory. & I love the potato that comes together with every steak dish.
