If you’ve been looking for a reason to crack a cold one with your friends, here’s your opportunity. Enjoy free beer while vibing with live performances by local artists and watching the brand’s iconic Frenchies take over Orchard Road at Rue 1664 – a free-for-all event by 1664 from 19th May to 26th May 2023.
This is more than your typical pop-up bar though – they’ve got a slew of activities lined up such as tote bag customisations, trivia games with prizes, and even pawpsicles for doggo mummies and daddies to spoil their pups.
With Parisian-inspired aesthetics, 1664 stays true to its French origins with this year’s pop-up event. Drenched in their iconic blue – the same hue on their bottles – the interior aims to teleport you to the dreamy streets of the city of love. Here are some of the activities you can look forward to.
You can never go wrong with a life-sized pint of beer. After all, it makes for the perfect prop for an event like this.
After you’ve got your pics for the ‘Gram, try your hand at their 1664 Trivia Game – avid fans should be able to ace this with ease – for a chance to win a tote bag that you can customise yourself with stickers from the brand.
To match the theme, come dressed in blue and you’ll get to participate in the live portraiture station from 19th-21st May. Bring home a professional drawing of your pretty face by a street artist – literally one of the coolest mementos in our opinion.
Moreover, guest artists like Glenn Yong, Sam Driscoll, The Cold Cut Duo, and Charlene Su, will be here on weekends to serenade you from 6pm-8pm.
Pet parents can head down from 20th-26th May 2023 and snap a pic with the 1664 Frenchie to redeem a free pawpsicle so both you and your furry friends can Bone Appétit.
Choose to sip on the go or stand around one of the high tables, either way, you’re invited to clink away with 1664’s premium beers that come in 3 variants.
Sip away on their original 1664 Blanc which features a playful twist of citrus and peach. Or for those who prefer a crisp and refreshing beer with a tinge of bitterness, go for their 1664 Lager. Otherwise, you might want to try their refreshing and slightly little fruitier 1664 Rosé which features a raspberry brew.
No matter if you’re a beer connoisseur or are new to the world of malty brew, Rue 1664 will have more than free drinks at their event. So gather with friends, plan this as a romantic post-dinner date, or an afterwork party, 1664 guarantees a groovin’ good time for all.
Just make sure you register online before heading down … and that you’re at least 18 years old.
