Deadly spicy krapao order

Thais are definitely among the spiciest eaters around the globe – two to three chilis are never enough; the minimum requirement for most is two to three spoons of the spice.

Just yesterday, a unique order of krapao, Thai stir-fried meat with basil, went viral in a Facebook community dedicated to fans of the delicacy.

An order that potentially calls for lawsuit

On the afternoon of 17th March 2021, a restaurant in Korat received one of the most creative orders from a customer via the LINE MAN delivery service. The note asks for an add-on of five to eight tablespoons of fresh chilis in his crispy pork krapao, which he ordered with a side of chicken rice.

As if to reassure the restaurant owner, the customer even added a text saying, “You will not be sued if I die”.

The incident was so hilarious the restaurant owner, Warakorn Panyapradit, had to take it to a Facebook group of krapao lovers; he also asked for witnesses in the event that he does get summoned to court.

With so much love and attention for the post, the story had to be shared to a bigger crowd and was featured in a major news source like Amarin.
