Inter-province travel suspended

Thailand ended the year with a spike in Covid-19 cases, and regulations. Today, the Royal Thai Government has requested that the population suspend travelling across provinces, especially those deemed “maximum control” zones, to prevent the spread of the virus.

In the event that travel is absolutely necessary, citizens will be asked to provide documentation to the authorities, who have been asked by the Government to screen travellers.

Government has yet to announce lockdown

While the Royal Thai Government continues to ask for public cooperation and impose restrictions, they have continued to voice their insistence against a nation-wide lockdown.

The story is still developing, stay tuned for updates.
