Japanese pancakes at Gram Cafe & Pancakes
The salted egg era is still here. Its popularity almost rivals that of bubble tea, and has been mixed with almost everything you can imagine – from instant noodles and fries to ice cream and even coffee.
To celebrate their 1st anniversary, Gram Cafe & Pancakes at Siam Paragon, which is known for selling fluffy Japanese pancakes, is launching a new flavour: you guessed it, salted egg lava pancakes.

Their Premium Pancakes Salted Egg Lava (฿320) features 3 jiggly pancakes that are filled with juicy salted egg lava. It will also come with butter and the store’s signature Nama cream, which is made from fresh milk and popular in Japanese desserts.

To finish the dish, salted egg crumbles are sprinkled on top to add a nice crunch to go with the soft pancakes.
Japanese-style pancakes have their own unique taste and texture. It is different from the classic pancake, and is softer with spongy texture, with egg whites as the main ingredient. This gives the pancakes their classic “jiggly” look.
Salted egg pancakes to grab on the go
If you would like to get something on-the-go, get the Premium To Go Salted Egg (฿90). This soft pancake “sandwich” comes with salted egg Nama cream and crispy salted egg crumble.

The special menus are available from now till 31st August 2019 at their Siam Paragon outlet only. Do note that it comes in a limited amount each day, so head down early to to try the dishes.

Aside from their souffle pancakes, Gram Cafe & Pancakes has Tiramisu Pancakes (฿275) which features three layers of classic pancakes coming with Nama cream, Tiramisu sauce, and chocolate chunks.
