If a cat or dog cafe is too basic for your liking, then Naka Snake Cafe might be the one animal cafe you’ve been looking for.

Naka Snake Cafe is situated in Siam Serpentarium, a snake museum in Bangkok, which is home to more than 70 breeds of snakes, such as pythons, from around the world.

Apart from educational exhibitions inside the museum, you can grab your favourite drinks like an iced latte or Thai tea at the cafe zone. This is where customers can get close and personal with serpent buddies in various sizes and colours.

All snakes are safely and comfortably stored in a clear glass box during the day. You must notify the staff if you want to play with them and they will assist you with it.

Get your adrenaline pumping by watching snake shows that feature venomous friends (or foes if you’re afraid) like cobras. After that, don’t forget to check out the exhibition room where you can learn more about many types of snakes while seeing them right before you.

Whether you’re looking for a cool place to hang out with friends or a destination in Bangkok for a weekend getaway with family, Siam Serpentarium and Naka Snake Cafe should be on the list.
