In the advent of animal cafes that have been popping up all over Asia to draw tourists in, Bangkok has a new pet cafe with an extra wholesome twist. Enter Adoptable Puppy Cafe, which isn’t your ordinary tourist schtick where you pay to play and feed cute doggos. 

This initiative has been set up by Thai Temple Dogs and Soi Dogs Matter to help puppies find a forever home.

Folks who have been looking to adopt a puppy but don’t know where to start can come by the Adoptable Puppy Cafe, which is held every Saturday at UnionSpace in Ekkamai.

The organisations involved hope to introduce new ways to rescue animals besides shelters. Plus, the cafe is a great space for people to come together in a cozy environment while looking for their next furbaby. You can volunteer to provide a temporary foster home for puppies while here too.

And don’t worry if you can’t commit to caring for a dog just yet – you can still come down to spend some quality time with these adorable puppies with a cuppa – zero obligations. The pups will take all the lovin’ they can get!

And cat lovers, you’re not left behind either. UnionSpace also hosts an Adoptable Cat Cafe every Sunday, organised by PAWS Bangkok.

Note: Puppies at the cafe have all had a 2-week quarantine period, flea treatment, and have been dewormed and given the necessary vaccines. Other pets are not allowed at the puppy cafe.
