Pimrypie, a kind-hearted Thai YouTube celebrity, rose to prominence through her videos that focus on helping people in need across Thailand.

With her down-to-earth charm and generous personality, there’s no doubt as to whether those who buy her products would sometimes receive an extra surprise. Here’s the story of a Thai woman in Pathumthani who bought a random gift box from Pimrypie and ended up receiving brand new car.

On 1st December 2021, the story of Patcha Mariasi who received a Suzuki car from Pimrypie’s random gift box went viral on social media after the story was posted on Facebook.

This was shortly after Patcha posted a livestream on Facebook reviewing the items she received in the random gift boxes she had bought from Pimrypie.

While she was showing audiences each gift she received, her friend found a small box with a yellow ribbon.

Patcha excitedly opened the box and couldn’t contain her excitement and happiness when she found a key of what-she-thought-to-be a motorcycle, together with a card from Pimrypie.

She called the number provided on the card and was told by Pimrypie’s assistant that she received the grand prize.

However, what she was going to receive was beyond her expectations.

Patcha receives a Suzuki Swift car

Patcha eagerly waited for her grand prize with anticipation. Little did she know that she was about to receive Suzuki Swift car worth ฿557,000 (~USD16,500).

The lucky woman was entirely surprised and ecstatic when she saw that the red car tied with a red ribbon was meant for her.

Patcha took photos with her new car and received a congratulatory flower from Pimrypie’s assistant.

However, the story also became an issue among netizens as some people began to speculate about whether Pimrypie and Patcha plotted this “gift” together to promote the random gift box.

The lucky woman later posted on her Facebook account stating that what happened to her wasn’t a plot, and Pimrypie didn’t hire her to promote the random gift box.
